A Year Ago – Pacific Coast of Oregon

“Because there’s nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it’s sent away.” – Sarah Kay

Last year on May 25th we arrived at this beautiful, tiny town along the shores of northern Pacific Coast that I’ve been dreaming of visiting for years – Canon Beach, Oregon. I’m not really sure what my obsession with that particular place is, but since I can remember, I’ve always dreamed about experiencing this beautiful part of northwest. Walking along the longest stretches of sand, dipping my toes in the cold tides, listening to the waves singing the same old love song… experiencing this beach, yet such a different beach…

End of May, and the temperature was only in mid fifties. It was cold. Cloudy. Foggy. Sunny. Cloudy again. Misty. Even rainy. But I didn’t care. Nothing in the world would ruin those next few days for me. I was happy to be in paradise.
